Deals Page And RSS Coming Soon

We're beginning to create a brand new section at ASE Adnet for bringing publishers the ability to bring the last deals and coupons to your readers. This section builds on the new Links that were added recently. We're interested in feedback on how you (the publisher) would like the deals page and/or RSS feed to function and what content to put in. A deals page will be able to bring extra traffic to your sites and provide a good bit of revenue as well. Since this new system builds on the Links system, it will be CPS. We plan on adding many more merchants for this new area at ASE Adnet.

We've completed the rollout of the new Links system and we're excited that publishers want to jump in and make more money. We are asking publishers to hold off on using the new system unless you are able to modify the links (just in case we discover errors) in a timely fashion. We expect no errors, but it is better to be safe than sorry. Please contact the email located in the adcode section to start using this new system.

By the way, the Links addition ushers in a new CPS merchant... Newegg! Now you can make money by sending traffic to everyone's favorite technology store.

What does a Link look like? Like this:

Here's the endpoint.

Links Coming + More

Our goal is to maximize publisher's revenue stream and to do this, we need to look elsewhere than just CPC revenue streams. We're about to roll out Amazon CPS affiliate links to our publishers. The Links will be just that, a link. No Javascript, no ad view, just a plain normal link. These Links won't expire and can be used anywhere on your sites. The link will give you a percentage of revenue from Amazon's site. We're looking to give publishers a high percentage of the revenue from this plan depending on how well received it is. You'll be able to use Links to show off products or just drive traffic to Amazon's site in general. In a few days, we'll have a helper Amazon shopping page (just like the current »CPC shopping page today). Amazon is a CPS source. You'll make money when people buy products. CPS offers the publishers more money for quality traffic.

In addition, we're looking at doing hybrid CPC ads that incorporate CPS sources in the same ad. The hybrid ads can be additive or replacement based. We're still looking at ways to make this work, but these are just ideas to make publishers more money. If you have any ideas, please let us know in the adcode section.

CPS Updates Soon

For publishers that want to try a new CPS (Cost Per Sale) system that may boost revenue over CPC ads due to taking into account the cost of the item, ASE Adnet is pleased to announce that this new system is being implemented soon.

You will see some additional information in reports for CPS revenue sources. Right now, since there are no CPS sources, these are just place holders until the new sources come out of development. They are coming soon...
